BELLE GLADE — The Lawrence E. Will Museum of the Glades invites you to attend a celebration of the opening of an exhibition of painting and sculpture: A PLETHORA OF STYLES By Donald Neal on Friday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m.
Celebrated for his mastery of the Trompe l’ oeil (“fool the eye”) method of oil painting, Neal blends technical mastery with native genius for conveying the substance of the Glades experience. Neal’s compositions are elegant in their execution and present an impressive range of themes from meditations on class conflict, race, and poverty, to humanity’s tenuous relationship with nature in the watery world of the northern Everglades.
Light refreshments will be served.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please call: 561 853 4443.
Private showings available by appointment. The artist will be in attendance.
The Lawrence E. Will Museum is located in the Old Library Building at 530 South Main Street, Belle Glade.
