GLADES COUNTY

US 27 at Fish Eating Creek: Maintenance project: Crews will be cleaning drainage structures near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

SR 78 at the Ridge Dill Pit: Maintenance project: Crews will be cleaning drainage structures near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

SR 78 Railroad Crossing from north of Canal Road to south of Kilpatrick Drive: Construction project: Crews will be making improvements to the railroad crossing on SR 78.  Crews will be replacing concrete approach slabs, which are structures that provide a transition between the roadway pavement and the railroad tracks. The contractor will also be milling and resurfacing the roadway adjacent to the railroad tracks, installing guardrail and pavement markings and improving drainage. Crews will be working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  A single continuous lane closure on SR 78 is in place while crews install concrete approach slabs. Temporary traffic signals are in place to guide motorists through the construction zone. Motorists should expect delays and obey the posted speed limit. The contractor is Weekley Asphalt Paving, Inc.  Estimated completion is fall 2018. Please use caution while driving through the construction zone.

SR 78 from US 27 to Buckhead Ridge: Maintenance project: Crews will be landscaping near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

SR 78 from Buckhead Ridge to just west of the Kissimmee River: Maintenance permit project: Crews will be repairing guardrails near the roadway from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near and on the roadway.

 SR 29 at Whisper Creek RV Park: Maintenance project: Crews will be cleaning drainage structures near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.
