Glades County, firm aid Michael survivors

MOORE HAVEN — The Glades County Public Safety Department, in coordination with J.J. Taylor Distributing out of Fort Myers, sent tarps, cases of hand sanitizer and bug spray to Panama City for Hurricane Michael survivors. The Glades County Road Department helped Bobby Edwards of J.J. Taylor Distributing load a tractor-trailer full of tarps, and the other supplies were loaded by the Glades County Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services on Oct. 15. Mike Mitchem with J.J. Taylor Distributing delivered the supplies to Panama City on Tuesday, Oct. 16. Both Glades County and J.J. Taylor were glad to be able to help our neighbors in the Panhandle.
