Four month investigation ends with drug arrest

On Aug. 4, Glades County Sheriff, David Hardin, announced the arrest of Adrienne M. Glowniak, 54, after a four month investigation into narcotic sales in Lakeport, Glades County. During the investigation undercover officers were able to purchase several different narcotics from Glowniak to include crystal methamphetamine and prescription pills.

On August 4, a search warrant was executed at the Glowniak residence, where Adrienne Glowniak was subsequently taken into custody. A search of the home was conducted with detectives seizing methamphetamine, marijuana, Schedule II pills and supportive evidence.

Glowniak is being charged with: possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell (2) counts; (2) counts of sale of methamphetamine; (4) counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription; (3) counts of sale of schedule II narcotic; (3) counts of operating a drug house; (1) count of possession of marijuana under 20 grams; and (1) count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
