Two Glades County residents arrested for narcotic charges

A Glades County Sheriff’s Office press release stated that on May 31 a gray in color Chrysler 300 was stopped for several traffic infractions. The driver, Brenda Hernandez, 24, admitted to having narcotics present within her vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted which yielded positive results for narcotics.

Hernandez was charged with possession of ecstasy/MDMA which is a third degree felony. At the time of the press release, she was in the Glades County Jail with a bond set at $5,000.

Ronald Dozier

The passenger of the vehicle, identified as Ronald Dozier, 37, was also arrested on numerous narcotic violations. Dozier was charged with possession of methamphetamine (2nd degree felony), possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell or distribute (3rd degree felony), trafficking in methamphetamine 14 grams or over (1st degree felony), possession of marijuana under 20 grams (1st degree misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (1st degree misdemeanor).

At the time of the press release, Dozier was in the County Jail with a bond of $115,500. Should Dozier post bond he is mandated to be on House Arrest with GPS monitoring.
