HENDRY COUNTY — Penny Jo Sweeney, 59, of Moore Haven was injured in a Feb. 23 vehicular accident.

A Florida Highway Patrol stated that at approximately 8:21 p.m. a 2016 KIA Optima operated by Ms. Sweeney was eastbound on State Road 80 (Hickpochee Avenue), in the inside lane.

A 2008 Honda Civic operated by Alexsandra Obregon, 33, of Moore Haven, was traveling westbound and began slowing in the left turn lane of State Road 80 at the same time the KIA began traveling partially in the inside and left turn lane of State Road 80 causing the vehicles to crash.
