Second graders sends letters of encouragement

During a study on “How to Be Responsible and Helpful Community Members,” West Glades School second graders in Mrs. Fleming’s class decided that encouraging our military members shows respect and support for others. They chose to Pay It Forward by writing letters of encouragement to Whitney Range, a past student of Moore Haven High School and the daughter of Colleen and Sheriff David Hardin and the late Bruce Ball. Whitney is in training in Oklahoma and will soon be serving our country in the United States Army.
