On Thursday, Oct. 13, West Glades School had a PINK OUT to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Faculty, staff, and students went all out to wear their special pink attire to school that day. Additionally, 30 participants walked the WGS bus loop after the school day ended in their fifth annual “Think Pink Walk”. WGS students have been helping the cause by donating coins into pink buckets and purchasing pink ribbons to display around the school. All donations received will go directly to Lee Memorial to help with wig purchases for those who have lost their hair due to chemo treatments and are unable to afford to purchase on their own. Together we can make a difference!
