Moore Haven football team seeking donations for safety equipment

Moore Haven Athletic Director and head football coach Max Manin is asking for help to pay for safety equipment for the football team, which is coming off a historic undefeated regular season in 2017.

“The average helmet that is up to necessary safety codes is anywhere from $300-400,” said Manin. “Again, that would be the cost of ONE helmet. Shoulder pads and girdles are no different. With safety being my number one priority as a coach, you can see why this fundraiser is so important. All we ask is that you donate what you can. Any amount will help these boys, and every dollar you donate will go back to the team in the form of safety equipment, travel expenses, cost of officials, team meals, and all other expenses that come with running a program. Thank you for your support and GO TERRIERS!”
